Anticipation Guide (Editable)
This Anticipation Guide is to be used as a comprehension strategy before and after reading a selected text. Prior to reading, students review several statements and make predictions whether the statements are true or false. Students read a selected text and return back to the statements. With their new information, they again determine if the statements are true or false.
This strategy encourages students to make predictions, connect prior knowledge to new information, and verify predictions.
