African Creation Myth Comparison Activity
This is a great activity to have kids jigsaw. Break students up into 4 small groups and have them read the creation myths of these 4 African cultures. Each group reads one myth then, as a class, they teach the others through the jigsaw method. Graphic organizer test students reading comprehension and connects human culture with geography. The book is broken down into 10 days or 10 sets of questions. Each set has 5 questions.
These are "right there" questions. I do this only to monitor that they are reading and have basic comprehension of the book. I ask higher order questions in my small groups :)
I do not have an answer key right now prepared. I will type up the answers and post them when they are done.
