Use these three games to help students practice trig skills. They can be used to differentiate because they increase in difficulty. Or, use all three as your students progress through a trigonometry unit!Game 1: Quiz Quiz TradeThis game gets students up and moving and talking about math. In this version, students practice setting up the ratios needed for sin, cos, and tan. Game 2: Memory Match Student pairs take turns matching trigonometry problems and ratios. Great for centers!Game 3: Find

Pythagorean Theorem Word Problems Activity: Task Cards

Included in this set are 15 Pythagorean theorem word problems activity task cards, a student answer sheet, and an answer key. These Pythagorean theorem activity cards are all short answer questions. Students will read the Pythagorean theorem word problems then calculate the answer for each one. The included answer key makes it easy to check answers. There are multiple ways I use task cards in my classroom. Sometimes I have students pair up, sometimes I have students work alone. When students wo

This card game for finding the missing angle measure using inverse trig ratios: Sine, Cosine, Tangent as 3 different suggested modes of play! There are 36 cards in this game. Students can play "180 Add Up" where students want to be the first to have their missing angle measures add up to 180. A "Full Set" game mode where students want to try to have in their possession 2 of each of the 3 trig ratios that would be used to solve for the missing angle. Finally a "Game of War" mode where students ha

Created as a resource for Spanish-speaking LEP students in geometry. You'll need to print the document (it's set up to print 2-sided, flipped on the short edge), cut the cards apart, and put them into a book format. I use a manila folder; I cut the folder in half and attach it together, but you could leave the folder intact and just have two columns of cards.

Practicing Trigonometric Identities - Dominoes TrigominosIn this fun activity, students will practice the trigonometric identities. This resource can be used as a warm-up for recall from the previous day's lesson or a closing activity to reinforce the topic. You could have students work in groups of 3 or 4 students. If your students are like mine, they may want to race, so consider having a prize for the winner! Maybe points for the final exam. Este juego requiere que los alumnos sean capaces
