Chinese New Year Spelling Spelling List (12 words total). This is an editable word document. There are two Spelling Lists for difficulty. I print two lists per page to save on paper. Build a Snowman - Mid Year Conference
Students self-assess by using the key to color the different category/sections of a snowman. Then, students turn on the back to write one "glow" that they are really good at and one "grow" the area they would like to improve on.
After completing, I conference with students to congratulate successes, set goals, and make a plan to finish the year strong.
