Before the holiday break in December, have students create an upcycled gift as a thank-you for a staff member in your school. Then celebrate before break with a sustainable feast where students share low-environmental-impact dishes and bring their own reusable dishes and flatware. If your school will let you do this, it is a very special day for students and the staff who receive their gifts. Gift tag templates are included for students to write heartfelt messages to their favorite staff member.

New Years Goals ~ Writing

Students write their New Year Goal on the paper provided. I have two on one page, so you will cut this in half. Then, using large brown construction paper, students will cut out the shape (to the best of their ability while looking at your model) ~ a football. Students glue their 'GOAL' onto the football and draw laces with a white crayon on top. The boys (and girls) LOVE this!!!!!
