How I Teach Surface Area of a Rectangular Prism
This is a 37 page Smartboard lesson covering finding the area of a rectangular prism. The lesson starts out by explaining how to find the area of a rectangle and progresses to the students finding the surface area by putting the dimensions on the object themselves. There are multiple practice questions that include answers. Answers are revealed by dragging a magnifying glass over the top of them. My students beg to be the one to come to the board!

How I Teach Similar Figures
This is a 47 page Smartboard lesson over similar figures. Students will set up proportions to find the missing side. Sometimes the two figures have the same orientation and sometimes they don't. At the end there are several more challenging problems where there will be a figure place onto another figure. There is plenty of practice pages of all levels along with the answers.

Introduction to Basic Trigonometry Activities for the Smart Board
Students are much more successful with solving basic introductory trigonometry problems when they spend time learning opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse and learning how to decide what trigonometric ratio to use when. This SMART Board notebook activity provides students the opportunity to practice this vocabulary. It also provides a 'pull tab' with answers. The activity ends with a little trigonometry comic relief.
