This lesson develops the skills of:main ideasummary writingparaphrasing creating and using data. The lesson is written to focus on the development of their own idea or interests, however it can be easily adapted to a final project after a research unit. Planetary Reconstruction Habitat Project
In this project, students will be taking on the role of contractors in service of the United Nations Space Program and NASA working to build and design a habitat for humanity amongst the stars. This will help educate students about geometry, sustainability, design, and economics. This is a perfect project to wrap up any units on environmentalism or on climate change, or something that could accompany lessons throughout the year.
