I originally designed these worksheets for use once a week, for the first 15-20 minutes of a grammar/ spelling/ proofreading focused workshop with 9-12 grade students. These activities are funny, literate, and self-explanatory. In some of them, students go on timed "scavenger hunts" to spot as many words with the specified roots as possible.
