3rd Grade Reading STAAR Bingo Vocabulary Game
I created this bingo game while looking at previous STAAR tests and lists of “stem questions” for reading. I noticed many of my students (especially my ELLs) had trouble with terminology used on the test. I wanted a fun way for them to become more familiar with the test vocabulary.
I used this game whole class, small group, during tutoring, and I even gave it to my Tier II and Tier III teachers who were enlisted to help prepare them for the reading test.

The strategy of the game is to choose the base and exponent that will give you the highest answers, because at the end the students will have to total up their answers in order to see who wins with the highest total.
