Number Construction 10 More, 10 Less, 1 More, 1 Less
First grade students have a hard time visualizing and preforming the mental math required for completing the skill of 10 more and 10 less. This SMARTBoard lesson allows students to manipulate groups of tens and ones in order to come up with the answers of 10 more, 10 less, 1 more, and 1 less.
