SmartBoard attendance file - President's Day theme
This is a single attendance file, also available in a set of seven winter/spring holiday themed files for $5.50. It is a fun and convenient way to take attendance. Students move their piece as instructed on the file when they enter the room. After all students are seated, those that have not been moved are the students who are absent. Introduction to the Encyclopedia
This Smartboard lesson was created by an elementary library media specialist, who was previously a second grade teacher. The lesson was created with students in grades K-4 in mind. Students will be introduced to the encyclopedia as a reference tool. They will learn what an encyclopedia is and what it is used for.
At the end of the lesson, students will be given situations and will have to determine whether or not an encyclopedia could be used to find the information.
