Thanksgiving Turkey - Writing Activity "I am thankful for..." Instructions: Give each of your students one turkey and a page of feathers. Have them brainstorm what they are thankful for and then write one idea on each feather. Colour the turkey and the feathers, cut them out and glue the feathers onto the turkey! They only have $25 to spend, and they have to buy at least 6 items. When they are done, they fill out the “My Thanksgiving Dinner” page.
