Music National Standards Notes
These notes have all 9 of the National Standards for Music Education written on them. These notes are good for displaying in the Music classroom to make teachers and students aware of how the lesson at hand correlates to the National Standards for Music Education. I like to name an activity that we'll do in class and ask students which standard they are working on for that activity. It has brought meaning to our lessons.

Music Classroom Rules - Editable Version
Here is my Music Classroom Rules that I print out and put in my room. I also open this Word Doc on my smart board and go over these rules as well. I found that all these rules are very helpful for the entire year. You can edit this form and change the name on top. You can also add or delete some rules. I have found that these are all the rules I need for the year in my music classroom.

Monitoring My Learning
I use this an an everyday exit slip for my art classes. It is a perfect way to always assess students especially when there is no time to make a paper exit slip. I printed it out on colored paper, laminated it, and posted it right by my door. On the way our of my room in line the students will lightly slap which section applies to them best. I will check of where they are at and it helps me know if I need to re-teach or move on.
