Introduction to Complex Sentences
This SmartBoard lesson introduces the structure and punctuation for constructing complex sentences. Once students understand the concepts of independent clause, dependent clause, simple sentence, compound sentence, coordinating conjunction, and subordinating conjunction, they will be better able to understand the construction of complex sentences.
