Stock Market Game Portfolio for Market Watch Game
This is a quick and easy assessment of a student's progress on the Market Watch Stock Market Game. Students are asked to complete a portfolio page every two weeks in my class. The game is played throughout the semester and is highly engaging! My students love the realistic nature of the game and enjoy having a check point every two weeks with these portfolios.

This webquest looks at 26 advertisements collected from the 1950s and 1960s and asks students to identify both the overt message and the underlying negative stereotypes about women. This is Webquest for personal finance Economics that uses the site Nerd Wallet (www.nerdwallet.com). This focuses on credit (credit cards), investing (401k), loans (personal, auto, student and small business), budgeting (50/30/20), renting vs. buying, etc...I created this Webquest for my students to use with iPads so there is a QR code at the top that links you to the site. You can easily edit the document and take off the QR code if you choose.

This product is intended to be printed as a booklet. It will guide students step-by-step on a WebQuest / Author Study of Patricia Polacco. Due to the technological nature of this activity, teachers may prefer to bookmark the websites to deter students from venturing to other sites.
