Schoolhouse Rock Fill-In the blank
I have typed up the lyrics to 3 of the history songs (No More Kings, Shot Heard Round the World and the Preamble) but have removed certain words. My students watch the video once and then fill in the lyrics as we listen a second (and sometimes third) time to the song. Christmas Special: SCOTUS Case Songwriting (Rudolph Version)

This song can be the starting point for a debate. It’s about the role of mother/carer. The setting is in a flying saucer. An alien looks down on the multi-tasking feats of a young mother and ponders. It’s also a starter for an art piece “What would the alien look like”?
Musicians have an opportunity to play the riff which is for more advanced pupils and percussion for those just starting out.

It names each person and then gives a function for each worker. This is a really fun song that most children love to sing.
