Design an A Frame House
A project for any student who has learned triangle trigonometry. Students design an A frame house to certain specifications and within a certain budget. Costs for various aspects of the home are given. Students must calculate floor space, framing, roofing, foundation size, etc. This project makes a good multiple day homework assignment. It is recommended that the teacher go over problems in class that relate to the specific tasks needed to complete this project.

Constructing Triangles
This power point presentation shows students how to construct thriangles using Pencil, Ruler, Protractor or compasses. Step by step instructions are given for staff below each slide and my students tend to follow the instructions easily keeping up with sir. Social Issue Project: Dangerous Dolls?
During this project, students will measure themselves, measure action figures/dolls, and scale up the doll proportionally to life size, based on their height. Then, they will trace themselves on a large piece of butcher block paper. This interactive Geogebra file allows you to use a slider to choose the number of sides on the regular polygon from 3-12 sides. Then it allows you to manipulate side length using a slider.
