The goal is for students to teach the class culinary skills and then everyone gets a taste of the final product. In my class is what we do every Friday. Calming Mindfulness Meditation Script for Testing (2-3 minutes)
Our school counselors have asked us to do mediation with student's before STAR testing, so this is the script I developed to use with students. The language seems best fitted for middle school or high school students, but could easily be adapted for elementary as well. With a focus on calming breathing and mindfulness, this would be beneficial to use with students before any kind of major assessment or standardized testing.
