The Order Of Operations Readers Theatre Script
This short (and funny!) script on the Math topic The Order of Operations was written to be performed by many elementary school speakers—even a whole class. Reading and rehearsing the script reinforces which procedures should be performed first in a mathematical expression while also increasing reading fluency and engaging students in a dramatic approach to learning facts.

OPERATION EQUATION is a brief, humorous, and maybe even a little corny play about a Math Game Show in which the contestants—the Mathletes—compete to get the correct answers. The problem to solve in this short play is an equation that requires knowledge of the ORDER OF OPERATIONS.
The Mathletes on both teams get the wrong answer when they first try to solve the equation. With the help of the Emcee, the Equation Reader, the two Judges, and the Audience, the Mathletes learn the Order of Operation
