Advertisement Analysis Research Project and Presentation
This project is used in an Informational Literacy class where students learn research skills and how to analyze information on the internet effectively.
Students learn about advertising, the history of it, what it is used for, how it can be manipulative, and the power of persuasion. They watch introductory videos on You Tube about advertisement and they read excerpts about it. Then, they navigate the internet, find advertisements, select one, do research about it, and present about it.

One Impossible Question Every Teacher Must Answer "Yes"
The brain is constantly assessing the world around us. That assessment most often takes the form of one basic question. The most skillful teachers often instinctively answer that question, "Yes."
By understanding the neural needs and the roots of the question, we can begin to make conscious and deliberate efforts to structure our classrooms and our teaching style to continually answer in the affirmative.
