Students who read Robin DiAngelo’s White Fragility often say, “More people should hear this!” They are eager to share what they’ve learned with others and keep the dialogue going. This project provides a platform for them to do so and to create an enduring video. In pairs or individually, students select a focus, conduct research, synthesize findings, write a script, either find or create graphics, and shoot a video. This activity is a short writing project that allows students to explore the world of TEDx. They watch, take notes, and then analyze the video reflecting on how the video impacted them and how it could impact others. They then choose a clip they feel best represents the theme of the video to show to the class when they present.
