The Me I Want to Be
"The Me I Want to Be" is a project students are able to create independently. I use it in my classroom as a menu activity the weeks before we have our final parent-teacher conferences. Students attend those conferences and share the short presentation with their parents at the beginning of conferences. Parents are always very pleased by the reflection and goal-setting components of the presentation.

Included for exploration are the idea of the life cycle, adaptation vs. traits, and the life cycle stages. This project includes both an individual and group assignment as students become travel agents that will design packages for fans cheering their team on in the march basketball tournament.
