This is a good end of the year project. Students pick a mathematician of the same ethnicity/gender to complete a biographical project. This project has multiple ways to present. I am uploading it in Word format so that you may modify to best suit your needs.

Poetry Digital Portfolio and Scoring Rubric
This is a favorite student project! Students will take their original poetry and create a digital portfolio on PowerPoint that includes graphics that go along with the poem and music. A scoring rubric for the project is included. Completed portfolios are presented to the class.
***I broke up the poem into separate slides. Each slide should have a stanza or few lines with a single idea so that the graphic matches that idea. Students can add or delete slides if necessary.

Book Report: PowerPoint/Prezi
I like to give my students several options to show their knowledge on literature that they have read. This project involved students creating a PowerPoint/Prezi that shows the main aspects of the book that they read for an independent reading project. Rubric is included.
