The Dognapping: A CSI Chromatography Lab
This is an exciting lab activity in which students take on the roles of CSIs working with evidence in the crime lab.
A real crime has been committed! Punkin the pooch has been dognapped! The only evidence is the ransom note, which IS included in this packet. Students will have to use chromatography to match the ink in suspects’ pens to the ink in the ransom note. Students will find a recipe for any meal/baked good they desire and will create a recipe procedure for that meal/baked good using 20+ chemistry terms.
