Students create a replica of a healthy lung and smoker's lung using basic materials (1 liter bottle, clay, balloons, etc.). The lung activity provides a hands on demonstration of how smoking negatively impacts the alveoli in your lungs. It comes in lesson plan format in case it needs to be used for any observations. A google forms link is also provide, along with two essentials questions that align with NYS ELA standards and the Health standards.
