This is a Greatest Common Factor game that I came up with for my students to practice finding factors of a number, and them locating the greatest common factor. They really enjoyed this game! It was very easy for them to understand with just a simple demonstration.

"Amazing Race" End of the Year Scavenger Hunt

I created this dice game for students to practice exponents after our multiplication lesson on exponents. The strategy of the game is to choose the base and exponent that will give you the highest answers, because at the end the students will have to total up their answers in order to see who wins with the highest total. This helps with number sense, multiplication practice, and understanding exponential form.

This game is called Dump It! What you do is put a set amount of red and yellow math counters into a cup. Students will shake the cup and dump it in their tray. They then will count how many counters landed yellow and how many landed red and write that number on the sheet. They have so much fun with this activity!
