This pairs well with Tara West's 2nd Grade Math Curriculum unit 8 lesson 8.2 available on TPT. Answers are located at the bottom of each card to guide quizzers.Due to COVID and CDC guidelines I have altered the structure slightly. Students still pair up but they have their own set of cards and stand back to back slightly apart.

This activity can be used in rotations for small groups or partners. Students have to sort out the problems into 2 categories: True and False. However, they need to write out corrections "fix-its" next to the false problems. When all of their problems are sorted and "fix-its" are written out, they should check the answer key to make sure they have completed their math work correctly. True/ False & Fix-It encourages students to recognize mistakes and practice correct mathematical work.
