Pokemon Rounding Game Board using Place Value
Students will roll a die and move their playing piece that many places. They will round the number they land on to the (tens, hundreds, or thousands). This is listed on the game board. If students land on a Pokemon, they have to go back to the nearest Pokemon card and miss a turn. The first one to the end wins. This pairs well with Tara West's 2nd Grade Math Curriculum unit 8 lesson 8.2 available on TPT. However, they need to write out corrections "fix-its" next to the false problems.
