Google Earth Scavenger Hunt
This is a fairly straightforward Scavenger Hunt to use with Google Earth. Students simply type in the coordinates and record their findings. This is a fun thing to do if a student is done with their work early or for a fun Friday activity. This usually takes students about 30 mins to complete. Now comes with key!

I use this project in a Geography elective at the middle school level. Students begin by choosing a nation not already represented at Disney EPCOT World Showcase. Technology Addiction - Survey and Discussion
A lesson on technology addiction and its impact on our lives. I used this with 15-16 year old ESL students during a technology unit, but it could really be used with any teen/young adult audience and for other subjects as well.
Materials included:
-a 20 question survey with yes/no questions to gauge your level of technology addiction
- a slideshow with preliminary discussion questions, survey results, a short documentry on tech addiction produced by a student, and wrap-up questions
