Pythagorean Theorem QR Code Practice
These 12 practice problems give students a picture of a right triangle and two given sides (the first 8 give both legs, the last 4 give 1 leg and the hypotaneus). Students solve for the missing side using the Pythagorean Theorem, then scan the QR code (using iPods, iPads, iPhones, or Android devices with a QR code reader installed) for the answer to the problem.

Students should use measurement skills as well as fingerprint identification. You can determine how difficult the task is by requiring a specific number of measurements.
