This is a recorded version of the Tectonic Shuffle that so many people have asked for to help teach Tectonic plate boundaries. The powerpoint can be downloaded for free with a link to the karaoke version of the "Cupid Shuffle" that I use in my classroom. What child does not love to learn about dinosaur songs? For example, "Well, let me tell you a story about ole' T-Rex. Great big legs, but itty bitty pecs!" I have written a collection of songs (piggyback style) that incorporate factual information about the dinosaur featured in the lyrics. “I Just Want to Part” Lyrical Content Breakdown
Verse 1 Context: The student is the MC in the first part of the song. The student is rapping about Cell Division briefly explaining Interphase, Mitosis, and Cytokinesis. Cell Division becomes the rapper for the rest of the song at the line “But I just want to part”.
