This highly entertaining and engaging mock trial will reinforce any lesson on the events leading up to and surrounding the creation of the Magna Carta. Students will create a courtroom and decide how King John will be remembered in history. I have successfully used this lesson with students in 3rd thru 12th grade. Additional activities are suggested.
