TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Welcome! I have been teaching high school English Language Arts for 13 years. My areas of expertise are engaging and thought-provoking literature instruction and scaffolding and modeling expository, argumentative, and creative writing. I currently teach an Honors English 9 course, Creative Writing, and AP English Literature and Composition.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that one of the most important things adolescents can do to understand what they think and how they think is to write and create! I love instructional methods and resources that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and productive collaboration among students.
