TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 6 years. I have taught three years of 7th Grade English, one year of 7th Grade Reading, one year of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Spanish, one year of 12th Grade English, and one year of 10th Grade English. I have worked with Honors students, regular students, and Special Ed.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a love of grammar, and I try to incorporate Grammar in Context, so students get used to using the rules in real life. I am very purposeful in my teaching. I don't like giving any assignment that doesn't have value. I am very student-based and don't lecture much. The more the students can get involved, the better.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As I learn more and more about teaching, I try to incorporate strategies that help students become better people as well as getting better at English.
