I run a laid back classroom where I encourage students to work hard and take ownership of their learning. I believe that by working with the student and giving them the tools to be successful is the most important part of teaching. I try to infuse modern lessons and connections to the standards and help make the information relevant to the lives of my students.

I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a concentration in Adolescent/Young Adult (7-12) Integrated Language Arts. I also have a Master of Science degree in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson University.
I live in the beautiful Buckeye State, where I was born and raised in the land of Smucker's Jelly! :)
