TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have spent the last 16 years in the English classroom and six years as a Department Head and Leader in my school board.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal is to make English relevant, engaging, and challenging for students. I combine classic literature as mentor texts with current articles, broadcasts, graphic texts, and pop culture. My students are encouraged to question the messages around them and to forge their own independent thinking.
