Description

This interactive and manipulatable Google Slide/PowerPoint Presentation introduces students to 12 Classic Character Archetypes. The lesson begins with a general description of character archetypes, then takes students through 12 archetypes by examining a colourful infographic. The teacher and students will then discuss how character archetypes are used in modern media (Harry Potter and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) to create consistent, rich characters. Finally, students will have fun guessing their teacher's possible archetype before taking an online quiz to determine his/her own archetype. Students will then graph their results on a pie graph, the template for which is provided via Google Slides.
