TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 14th year teaching. I currently teach 7th grade Mathematics and LOVE IT! I have also taught 4th grade and 6th grade in an elementary setting for 8 years, and I taught 7th & 8th grade Language Arts, Special Education, and Mathematics in a Junior High setting. I am endorsed in secondary math and I am ESL certified. I love where I am. I love my school, and I love my job and team. I enjoy creating new material that is directly tied to the Math and Language Arts Common Core!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use Power Teaching for management in my classroom. This gives students the opportunity to really be involved in their learning and keeps them on their toes. I believe in a hands-on approach to learning AND teaching.
