TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have never been in the same grade for more than a year. I have taught the following grades: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade math. The schools I have taught at were Sligo Creek Elementary in Silver Spring, MD; William H. Farquhar in Olney, MD; Pleasant Ridge Elementary in Knoxville, TN, and currently Ritta Elementary in Knoxville, TN.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am fun and exciting, but I have high expectations of my kids. I take my standards and create things that will get the point across without being dull. I strive to find new things to bring into my classroom, to have the latest and greatest for my kids. Any of my classroom parents would tell you that, their kids are also my kids. I treat them like my own.
