Liberty An Introduction to the American Revolution

This Promethean flipchart activboard activity is an introduction activity for the American Revolution. It includes the King's M&M's activity and CCSS Social Studies and Writing Standards for 4th grade. Students work in small groups as a business while getting taxed by King George III. Then they brainstorm ways their business can save money. Next they write a persuasive letter to the King about the taxes. Finally, the complete an independent quick write.
