TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach predominantly German online to high school students. I also teach pre-K German in person at the local German club and our homeschool co-op.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my classroom, I focus on comprehensible input to help engage students and demonstrate the language. We play lots of games and I try to keep things engaging and interactive.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a degree in education and German Languages and Literatures from the University of Kansas. I learned German as an exchange student on the Congress-Bundestag scholarship and also studied for a year as a graduate student at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Storified German represents my desire to present the German language through stories, music and games to keep simple language engaging and useful.
