Standifird Science and Instructional Coaching

I've been instructing mathematics and science since 2014, and I possess extensive experience working with students across diverse levels and backgrounds. My teaching materials encompass resources specific to my subject and grade level expertise, as well as comprehensive general and administrative tools that I've curated during my time in leadership as a department chair and instructional coach.

My teaching style is characterized by a harmonious blend of kindness, achievement and engagement, all aimed at maximizing student success. I believe that fostering a supportive and understanding learning environment is paramount allowing me to connect with my students to understand their unique needs and challenges. I create a safe and inclusive space where students feel valued and are encouraged to express themselves. I design my lessons and materials with careful consideration of diverse learning styles, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel. My ultimate goal is to empower students to reach their full potential, guiding them on their educational journey and celebrating their achievements along the way.

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and attended public school there until graduating from Mountain View High School. I found my passion for education early in my life having had wonderful teachers throughout my education. Knowing that I held this passion and realizing my gift for connecting with people, I chose to study elementary education and graduated with my bachelor of arts from Arizona State University. Teaching math and science for nearly a decade brewed a passion for science so much so that I decided to study biomimicry and graduated with my masters of science from Arizona State University.
