I have been teaching 6th-8th grade science in an urban district in Ohio for the past 25 years. I love teaching science to middle schoolers. I have a passion for creating engaging science lessons for my students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that my students should learn science by "doing science". I use a variety of teaching strategies with my students. I think about the Multiple Intelligences when I am designing lessons. I have my students keep a science notebook throughout the school year. I have had students come back to see me from high school to tell me that they used their science notebooks in high school science classes.
