I have taught American History I & II, World History, Civics, U.S. Government, Economics, Psychology, and Personal Finance.
I believe that students thrive best when they are engaged and challenged. I aim to get students to be creative and push them to learn more through higher-level thinking! I love to incorporate technology, but I think using non-technology based methods can be more effective for certain content. I think students are more engaged when there is a good mix, so I try to provide the same for you!
I am a North Carolina Teaching fellow. I also received Harnett County School System Rookie of the Year award for my first year of teaching.
B.A. in History from Meredith College with a minor in International Studies; M.Ed. in Curriculum and Teaching from Bowling Green State University
