TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi there! I'm Marissa. I'm a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and Owner of Rockford Speech Therapy. My love for speech and language drove me to open a clinic that will serve the needs of the community in ways that best work for them. I have experience working in pediatric outpatient clinics, public schools, preschools, and in-home settings. I really enjoy working closely with families to help parents/caregivers better implement speech therapy strategies into their everyday routines. I'm bilingual in Spanish and I also have training in linguistics and specialized training working with bilingual families. We currently have interpreters of various languages at our clinic. I currently live in Rockford with my husband. I'm a Step-mama, fur-mama and mama to two littles.
