TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Taught Pre-AP Spanish 3 and Spanish 2 in Las Vegas at a small charter school on the East Side for 3 years. I mentored a novice Spanish teacher during my third year. I also taught a Literature Spanish Honors Class and Spanish 2 at a charter school for 2 years in Los Angeles. Lastly, I run a Spanish tutoring business where I teach Spanish to adults. I've taught students, teachers, police officers, etc. since 2019.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Most of my curriculum is aligned with the AP Spanish Language and Culture class and exam. It is interdisciplinary, focusing on history, social justice, Latin American cultures, and world problems. Most of the content in the store is tailored for Spanish Heritage Speakers who can understand 80-100% of what is said in Spanish. However, they may struggle with reading comprehension, writing, and may need to refine their speaking abilities.
