TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a children's book author and I offer virtual art courses. Check out my first book, Poi Dog's Purpose: A Book About Self-Discovery and Belonging, and my art courses on my website: https://sites.google.com/view/creativekozak/home I am also the Coordinator of Online Learning and Principal of my district's virtual school. I create online courses for my district supporting students who need an alternative educational pathway or more flexibility. I have worked to support student learning for over 15 years. I understand the fundamental elements necessary to engage students in their learning regardless of their instructional setting. I take time to include those elements in my lesson plans. During my years of teaching, I worked in both public and charter school settings. These career opportunities included teaching a variety of grade levels and subjects.
