TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently teach a Social Skills resource room class for students in a middle school special education setting. I am a case manager for students qualifying under ASD, EBD, OHI and LD. I have worked in private, option and public schools in both special and general education; I have used different curriculum sets at each, and created supplementary materials for each as well. I love all of my students, and want to supplement their learning with what I have found works best. I hope my resources can support your students as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Relationship-based, heavy SEL focus in the classroom, project and expeditionary learning - learning needs to be FUN for kiddos to want to become engaged to dive in! We are creating the future democratic citizens we want to see being helpful, not hurtful to society! Every student deserves to feel believed in, and receive all of the resources and support they need.
