Description

Integrating the arts into Language Arts is such a powerful way to engage visual learners and pique interest in your students.

This bundle includes 6 of Jean Michele Basquiat's paintings with corresponding prompts centered around symbolism. Why does he include words in many of his paintings? What would you title his most famous work, Untitled? Some of his life story is provided to give context.

My students have gone bananas for Jean Michele and will write away about anything involving his "edgy" style of art. The bundle includes the images / prompts as well as writing pages, for a quick one and done print.
