TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an author and teacher who loves hands on activities using everyday items to engage students. I have taught parent education classes throughout San Diego county focusing on early phonics and literacy. I have taught middle school ELA and Social Studies as well as 7th and 8th grade science. I currently see 450 students a week through a K-5 science rotation. I teach K-6 science and a Code Studio elective for students in grades 6-8.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Let's get dirty and have fun! I am extremely organized and love hands on activities with every day items. We make messes but the students know to clean things up and prepare for the next group.
