I have dedicated over a decade of my life helping people of all ages understand mathematics. My experience includes teaching students from the third grade level to the eighth grade level and adults returning to college. In my time working in middle schools, I have taught inclusion classes and was the Academic Intervention Services teacher for my academy.
I have worked in New York City and New Jersey public schools and taught a Basic Math Literacy class at a NYC city college. In addition to teaching, I tutored students with a wide range of levels in learning and abilities.
Coming from schools where supplies were limited, many of my products were created to be used again and again and constructed out of low-cost materials.
My students loved activities where they could use manipulatives, create something, or use technology to explore what otherwise might be a mundane topic.
